So we had a department meeting today at work and my supervisor went over the social media policy that the HR department handed down since the end of last year. Apparently if you put the company’s name on your FB profile, like their page or even have any co-workers as friends who have the company’s name on their profile, they can track what you post!
My boss said that she’s known people that have been questioned and even got into trouble just because of what they posted on their Facebook! Can you believe that?!
None of my co-workers on my FB list know about my Tumblr blog. I’ve talked to them about it but they don’t know my URL or any of that stuff. We’re talking about people who don’t seem to express an interest in getting a Tumblr account. So I think it’s safe to say what I want here.
Tagged as: yeah i think i'm gonna stay away from facebook.

ergh facebook is stupid on too many levels. i believe people i know shouldn’t be combined with the internet. unless they are very good friends. and facebook is basically for stalking people, whether it may be a job or you are just nosy/curious
